Sharing my tasting notes for the new Jack Daniel's 12 year old and the second batch of 10 year old... Jack Daniel's 10 Years old Batch #2 (48.5% ABV) Nose: cherry cola, leather, tobacco, honey, and oak. Taste: Cherry cola at first, followed by black pepper and a hint of cinnamon, honey, vanilla, cocoa powder, and a touch of oak. Finish: Long and dry with a hint of spice. Score: 92 points. Jack Daniel's 12 Years Old Batch #1 (53.5% ABV) Nose: Molasses, butterscotch, honey, and blackberry jam. Taste: Thick and creamy with dried fruits, molasses, and caramel candy. Finish: Long and sweet with a touch of leather and tobacco. Score: 93 points.
