Just tasted the new WhistlePig 21 year old single malt from an undisclosed Canadian distillery and finished in rye barrels. The nose has touches of baking spices, molasses, and red apples. The taste has notes of clove and cinnamon along with a hint of nutmeg, molasses, honey, red apples and a hint of anise. The finish is long, dry, and spicy with a touch of oak. 94 points!
