Is anyone here a member of the SMWS (Scotch Malt Whisky Society)? Picked up these 3 this week (U.S. site) - all selected by Members. The first (called Mic Drop Dram) is a 15 year old Benrinnes red fruit bomb, yet to try are a 12 year Bunnahabbin, Smoulder After the Storm, (in the peaty camp which is not typical for them) and a 16 year Caol Ila (Red Tide). They are a little on the higher end of what I’d typically pay but I do appreciate that every bottle is unique and cask strength. Thinking of gifting a subscription to my parents in England this Christmas.
