In BSD City (about 50Km from Jakarta, Indonesia) for a Motor Show. A relatively quiet city at night but I managed to find a neighbourhood bar to explore. THE PUB CORLEONE. Solid neighbourhood bar with a live music performance on the upper floor. The 3pc band was a little loud for me so sat at the bar on the ground floor. First up, ordered a house specialty cocktail - PASAK BUMI. Way too sweet for me and hard to taste any flavour beyond the sweetness. Sad, as the ingredient list showed they have put significant effort in crafting this drink. Next, I decided to be safe and ordered a classic cocktail, a BOULEVADIER. Mmm… so much better. A simple drink and very well made. They use Buffalo Trace bourbon as their base. Enjoyed this. Finished up with a cold bottled Bintang Beer. Always a good option. 😊 Service was top notch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Observant without being over bearing. Enjoyed my experience here even if the first drink wasn’t to my taste.
