Just killed off another bottle of Blanton's. I always enjoy the classic vanilla, caramel and light baking spices I get from it. Don’t recall if this bottle came right from the distillery on one of my trips through Kentucky or my ABC store in Maryland but, I pick it up anytime I can find at or near MRP (below $80s - not worth the crazy $150ish prices some price it at) to keep On my bar. I know some in the community feel it is overhyped. For me, It has sentimental appeal since I have been enjoying Blanton's since the 1990s. It, along with knob Creek and Bookers, led me to transition from mixers to sippers and fueled my whisky journey.
