#bottlekill 1990/2011 Rosebank Special Release 53.8%. Nose: fresh cut grass/green apple/lemon zest/delicate. Palate: sweet lemon cream/"Lemon Pledge" polish (in a good way)/malty. Finish: swelling spice midpalate. Mid to long finish. Saved 2 samples to compare to the 1992/2014 Special Release (unopened for now). Thoughts: I bought the 2014 release after trying the G&M bottling which I really liked. I won this 2011 release at an auction by mistake (I thought I was bidding on the backup 2014 ๐Ÿ˜). Tasty mistake however. As my experience with triple distilled Lowland whiskies is limited to a few bottlings of Auchentoshan, I really had to work to pick out the flavors from this 2011 release. Curious to see how the 2011 compares to the 2014. Highly recommended!
