Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch 9 Nose: Light oak, vanilla, honeyed malt, light lavender, light raisin Taste: Orange gummy candy, chocolate (?), vanilla, honeyed malt, raisin Thoughts: A blast of vanilla and honeyed malt. I find much talked about Balvenie honey characteristic in this bottle, akin to the 15 year single barrel which I love. A quality dram! This is one of very few bottles that I hunt on my current whisky journey. Have a wonderful week everyone. Sláinte!
