40 and 10. 40 years of Fèis Ìle and 10 years since our last visit. We split our time in Islay and the Highlands. I traveled for the whisky, but fell in love with the country, people, and stories. Can't be there in person this year, but will celebrate in spirit (pun intended) while getting samples ready for a whisky compadre. I am challenging myself to post the tasting notes and back stories each Fèis day with only the bottles currently in my collection (I had to be creative). Let's see how this goes. Sláinte!
