Where are the Canadians? I’m planning a Canada whisky road trip and need some advice: 1. First up is a wee Vancouver Island Roadtrip. I’ll visit Macaloneys and Shelter point and need some advice where to stay in between. I like to surf and heard Tofino is the place. But it also seems very touristy and expensive. Any alternative recommendations on Vancouver island where it might be nice area to stay and chances on surf spots (surf schools to rent a board and suit). 2. Where to stay in the shelter Point distillery area. 3. If I still have time, what else is a must do on Vancouver island? I’d love to go on a boat trip whale watching (it’s big bucket list point for me). Any recommendations? 4. I got a whole month on the east coast around Ottawa and Montreal. I’m planning to go to nova Scotia and Brunswick cause that seems to be good place for distilleries. Any suggestions what else to do and where to go (simply nice areas and coasts).
