We've heard various different attempts to pair something with whiskey - meats, cheeses or even, God help us, chocolate. I'd like to add to that list - steam trains. Yesterday, I took a trip down the East Coast of Ireland on a steam train, drinking whiskey. It was a fantastic experience where we got to sample an Irish whiskey I'd actually never heard of - Garden County (the train passed through the county from which the whiskey originates).
