At Mark's recommendation, I visited the Whisky Galore shop in Christchurch last month while vacationing in New Zealand. Stephen, Heiner and the team are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The shop has a super selection of fine --and many hard to find -- whiskies. I'd recommend a stop-by to any traveler in New Zealand! I'm already looking forward to Dramfest, 2027....supposedly sometime in March, but the dates are unposted as of this writing.
