Post for the day… Sharing my experience at another lovely “hole in the wall” whisky bar in Japan. This time in an underground mall beneath Nippombashi Train Station, in Osaka: Recently, I was coming out of Nippombashi Train Station in Osaka, when the corner of my eye caught this small bar with a decent selection of single malts. Just could not walk by! 😝🤣 Had 3 enjoyable drams whilst wondering in how many countries would Infind such a good whisky bar in an underground mall at a city train station. 😊 First up, a 10YR Edradour that I always enjoy. Next, a Kilchoman 2024 Loch Gorm Oloroso matured expression - Yums! Third dram for the night.. thought of the Glenallachie 15 but went instead for a shot of the Glenallachie 10YO Cask Strength Batch 8. There was only a little left in the bottle so I was afraid the remainder might be somewhat flat due to oxidation but Im happy to say this wee dram is as wonderful as I recall it ever being! Superb!!! 😍 Just love Japan. ❤️
