Just finished interviewing Chip Tate for this weekend's podcast. For those of you who are relatively new to whisky, Chip founded Balcones Distilling in 2008 and controversially lost control of the distillery to his investors in 2014. For the last couple of years, he's been the master distiller for innovation at Foley Family Spirits, and just recently released his first whiskies for Foley under the Ampersand brand label...I'll have my tasting notes for them this weekend as well...
