Just got word that our good friend Robin Laing died this weekend at the age of 72. I’m gutted…just saw Robin two weeks ago at the New Brunswick Spirits Festival and he seemed to be in good shape. Robin’s music defined Scotch Whisky for our generation, from comedic tunes like “whisky for breakfast” to the touching “Talisker Bay.” Rest well, old friend…
