Had an on and off relationship with this Balcones Single Malt. With a little ice it was sweet, mouth coating and rich with baking spices. It was my go to dram for pairing with desserts. Other times the baking spices and oak dominated 🤷‍♂️. Overall the good and the bad averaged out and it gets a 5/10 on a true 0-10 scale. At ~$80 a bottle it is a slightly above average value.
