My absolute highlight on my Denmark roadtrip, was without a doubt the whisky tasting with founder and owner of Nyborg Distillery Nicolai Rømer in the distillery shop. The whisky industry seems to attract generally quite sympathetic and humble people. Probably one of the reasons I get along with whisky so well. But the kindness and humbleness of Nicolai is unmatched. The absolute fantastic Isle of Fionia whisky he produces is as it seems to me completely unknown which is an outrage.
