The mention of the Larrikin Rosewater Bourbon piqued my interest on this week’s WhiskyCast. Does the use of rosewater count as an additive or flavoring? Is this “technically” a bourbon? I notice the label it says: Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky Proofed with Distillery Brewed Rosewater So my guess is this is the kind of labeling technique the TTB allows to “work around” the definition. Similar to how ASM did prior to its official approval. Regardless, I’m interested enough to order one and give it a go. 😆
