It’s been a couple of weeks and I happily killed this bottle of High West Bourye last night with a friend. While sipping on this one I tried to categorize it as either a bourbony rye or a high rye a bourbon. I guess it means they got it right because neither of those worked. It was just in the middle. But at $125 MSRP though it is below the median in value and it’s unlikely I’ll reach for this bottle on the shelf.
