At the risk of getting kicked off this platform, I wanted to pass along an excellent discussion in another podcast about the recent slump in spirits scales. Two professionals make the separate cases for it being a short term issue versus a long term structural change. On one hand the amount of spirits consumed is still within historical range going back 70 years, on the other hand youth are drinking less suggesting this is structure. One of the panelists made the point that kids are drinking less because their parents know their location 24/7 and would start asking questions if they are off in the woods. As a parent and former youth, make sense to me 😂 Back to WhiskyCast now… https://www.rabobank.com/knowledge/c011334968-liquid-assets-a-beverage-industry-podcast
