A rare non-whisky post here. colleague brought this back for me (from Paris of course). One of the four listed ingredients is “Arome alimentaire“. What is that? The translation to English seems to be “food flavoring” but Google searches suggest it is a generic term because the term is used with another flavoring, e.g. “pecan” or “strawberry”. Anyone willing to share some insights? The liquid is sweet and cloying. Maybe it’s a coloring syrup?
