A mini Rye comparison The 9, 11 and 12. 9 - A bit more sweet and spice in the finish 11 - Maybe slightly dryer 12 - Not as much punch as the 9 All 3 have the rye flavor and spice. They all linger about the same to me as well. If you like more punch then 9 is most likely the one. 12 is definitely coming off milder.
