Fifteen years in just an Oloroso sherry cask can do unique things to a distillate as it becomes the whisky it was meant to be. Now that this one has found its way to a bottle - and my mouth - I’m discovering what science and patience have given birth to. (And I’d say the baby smells like figs, honey, and burnt toffee!)
