Last evening I tried a new (to me) whisky cocktail called the Colleen Bawn. It’s a flip which means you use an egg. Nogs use eggs as well but they also use milk and/or cream. This cocktail has Yellow Chartreuse, Bénédictine and rye whisky. Shake with an egg, double strain into a coupe glass and top with shaved nutmeg and cinnamon. I thought it would be too herbal but it worked nicely. My wife and I really enjoyed it!
