Hey all! I have a question I would like to ask to everyone. Do you prefer to put in the ice for your drink before or after you pour in the whiskey (or whatever spirit it may be)? The majority seem to put it in before, but I have seen on social media many experienced bartenders seem to prefer putting the ice in last, then stirring the drink until chilled. I have tried both when making an Old Fashioned and found first stirring all the ingredients of the drink first, then adding the ice and a final stir to chill seems to make for a better and more balanced drink.
