Just a few images showing the way the industry has shifted from the humble Croft distilling excess grains, to a juggernaut in the last decade. Also tried to get a representation of how the increasing demands of cask, including an abundance of investment schemes shows the whisky casks just turning into a vessel that has less importance around Angle Share and more to do with Stock share. I just hope things start to see a change from 2024, so the honest hard working Independent Bottlers and distillers can continue to produce the whiskies we love, with less increases in price and also allows the enthusiastic drammer to access decent bottles to be opened and shared from retailers, allowing a healthy and happy cycle.
