Just finished another "irreplaceable" bottle. Finding certain whiskies I have come to enjoy are either (1) not available in my local area anymore, or (2) the price change from last time bought has skyrocketed. For example, I have a bottle of Readbreast 27 that will have to last me a while; price locally is already $60 USD higher than 12 months ago. Regret finishing the last Yamazaki 12 bottle. Have you experienced this? If so, what are your thoughts on the topic? Any factors, beyond supply and demand, that you suspect are at play? Looking forward to your feedback.
