Thanks to @Willem Kilian’s recent post I looked at the back label of all my bottles and noticed a significant variation in number of calories. Among these 6 there is a 25% difference from highest to lowest. The difference in calories is not caused by ethanol content alone (for example, the two with 71 calories/30 ml are 43 and 54.7% ABV). What are the ranges in your whiskies? Sugar could make a difference, what else adds calories? Bonus points to anyone who can name 2 or more of the whiskies in the photo!
